A family story of antiques, Americana, and a red barn in San Marcos
Dorothy lived through the Great Depression and was doing yoga in her 90s. She was always the life of the party and had a smile and an ear for whomever she met.
Her grandson Torrey is now continuing her legacy by selling unique antiques online. Every piece that passes through Jensen's Red Barn carries a little bit of that same warmth and personality that Dorothy brought to everything she did.
Dorothy's husband Harold Jensen built the beautiful red barn on their farm in San Marcos to store and sell antiques.
The barn he built for her became the name — and the study — for the logo she drew for her store. Today that same barn and logo live on through Jensen's Red Barn.
Every antique in our shop is a piece of history — just like the barn it started in. Stop by our Etsy shop to see what's available, or browse our Flickr gallery for the treasures that have already found new homes.
